OurNextGame.com is provided as a free service to you and is offered with no guarantee. No liability is assumed by the operators of this website for any actions, content, or intent of its members or anyone else who vists the site.

Often times, people ask me how in the heck this web site is able to exist and provide a free service to anyone who wants to use it.  Certainly there are costs associated with running a website, right?

Yes, there are costs to keep this website up and running.  However, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can host reliable websites for next to nothing nowadays, so the fixed costs are minimal.  With respect to the labor -- all work is done on a volunteer basis by people that are users of the site or interested in seeing it grow.  This is a great example of the re-birth of technology in that a community can form online and help one another out to make our lives easier!

Having said that, it would certainly be nice to cover the tangible costs and upgrade the technology or hosting should the site continue to grow in popularity.  Toward that end, unobtrusive ads have been placed in areas of the site.  If you do business with one of the sponsoring advertisements, OurNextGame.com will realize a referral bonus, thus helping to pay for the costs of the site.

OurNextGame.com holds your privacy in the highest regard, and will never sell your personal information.  We have no interest in using such devious tactics to fund the site.  For more information, see our privacy policy.

We have discussed the option of providing a "premium" service that would eliminate the advertisements and provide some additional features.  This is not something that interests us at this time, but we would be interested to hear your feedback on the option.

So, you can rest assured that you will always have a free place for your team or group to call their homepage.  The founder of the site still uses it for his hockey team and poker group (you can be in more than one team/group), and he's definitely not going to let that go away :)

Please contact us if you have thoughts or questions relating to the "freeness" of this website.
